An Argentinian empanadas bakery with a selection of meat, vegetarian, and vegan “pies”. Some outdoor seating is available.

Coming from the Spanish verb empanar, which means to coat or wrap in bread. Empanadas are a stuffed pastry (sweet or savoury) found across Latin America. It’s origins can be traced back to medieval Galicia (Northern Spain). It then crossed the Atlantic with the Spanish colonists in the 16th Century where it remains, to this day, a very popular dish.
